7x
7x is the north american corporation (Formerly known as Brookins Consulting; Renamed in 2018) continuing the work of leading the Exponential Community with stable new releases of the website building software stack called Exponential (Formerly eZ Publish 6).
7x is the main company at the tech incubator kracker [dot] org and where we produce some of our most public works.
7x has been in business for over 25 years helping regular average people build on the web, faster and more reliably with results that grow in value.
Brookins Consulting
Brookins Consulting was started by myself in 2000 after speaking about my ideas for a consultancy based solutions and support provider with Carol Ann Black a dear friend and avid reader.
In 2001 Brookins Consulting began providing web based website applications using the eZ Publish 2.x product line without paying for support instead relying on my own skills to master and grow this solution to do even more, even better with changes!
In 2018 Brookins Consulting renamed the company silently with no public notice to simply 7x (domain se7enx.com). The domain had been purchased in 2014 as I researched potential names with which to take BC to the next level. I had been silently preparing for years.
Today Brookins Consulting is a division inside of 7x and our home page brookinsconsulting.com remains online.
Tetra Web Systems
Tetra Web Systems is a company I started with my partner Vincent Opar from Kenya, Africa.
Tetra Web excels at delivering expert internet applications and software systems integrations.
Exponential
Exponential is the brand name for the Exponential family of enterprise free software copyleft open source website building application framework and proven stable advanced content management system (CMS). Exponential comes in several flavors or distributions (Basic, 6.x, Platform Legacy, Platform and Nexus). Each is unique in features but similar in proven stability which helps you drive results daily.
Exponential Community
The Exponential Community exists world wide and today is a mix between new users just getting started using the software to power their own websites and advanced users who are using it as well to power their websites. Many of these users could easily be considered former members of the eZ Publish Community which didn't agree with the non-free nature of the Ibexa's forced upgrade and dropping of support for the community software solutions which powered our websites just fine.
Exponential Ecosystem
The Exponential Ecosystem is the greater world which surrounds our Exponential Community and is often more business focused and silent within the community.
The Exponential Ecosystem grows faster than the community as it is uniquely different in it's needs and often provides direction by example alone.
Exponential Partner Network
The EPN is a greater vision for the Exponential Ecosystem / Community / Users to become more involved, supported and grow to reach new levels of prosperity.
Digg [dot] one
I am an internet news kid from the 1980s. Self publishing is in my DNA and DNS ;)
I loved digg.com between it's premier to v3; but hated v4/sale of site. So I loved the publishing solution more; i loved the idea(s).
I am an engineer by trade so I reverse engineered the software ideas into a prototype called diggClone.
I got funding to implement diggClone into a new website for a friend.
During this time I released my own implementation of diggClone as digg.one aka Digg Sigma the first Exponential CMS based implementation of diggClone software.
Today digg.one is a free place for people to vote on stories about internet links free to everyone.
